Yeah I have insurance through an employer so I’m sure they’re protecting me from the worst of it, but a 40% premium responsibility increase was unpleasant to see

I also think paying elected officials well makes sense because you don’t want only the fabulously rich to be able to run. Given that it’s NYC and the hours are probably plentiful I don’t have a problem with it

They aren’t going to give up the free excuse to punish us. Even if it’s not what they “need” to do, it’s what they want to do.

I’ve not seen any real evidence to the contrary. You don’t throw a group under the bus so quickly and completely if you didn’t secretly want to do it the entire time
