Grateful to know my Jesus, elementary teacher, love my family and hiking and quilting and reading and art.
You're a great mom.

Happy to take them off your hands. Love hearing their stories and seeing their faces and reading together. And sending them home at the end of the school day.

You can keep the 6-7! mess. I didn't miss that AT ALL. And I teach 6 and 7 year olds 🤦

I wholeheartedly concur. As an elementary teacher, I send home something like read a book, clean your room, go play outside.

Not one parent has ever complained that I don't send home hours of work or packets and we all skip all "mandatory" zooms.

We sometimes play Target. Like 20 questions, but it has to be found in the store. Limits the playing field so we don't keep coming up with obscure dinosaurs. Categories are easier too- it is in the home section? Plus we don't count the questions.

I was a STEM specialist with 680 students, K-5 plus autism and EBD programs, 26 classes and 2 class and a halfs with a 4 day rotation. 7 classes each day.

Totally couldn't do it- impossible. Now I just teach first grade. Still relatively impossible but not like elem specials.

What do you call a bear with no ear?

Oh I can see how that looks. Thanks for calling it out. I'm sorry.

We are a fully inclusive school and I literally meant students who have been diagnosed with Developmental Cognitive Delay. Complete sentences are often a challenge and visiting admin often ask them questions for some reason.

I hear people who live in bogs have layers 😀

That's brilliant! Admin always asks the kid staring out the window or the one with cognitive delays first. I love tasking it to someone!

My students (1st grade) get on the bus around 6:40-7. They all eat at school at 7:20 before early recess. I'm grateful my state covers breakfast (and lunch) for everybody.

These bad air days are awful. But I can't breathe outside so... inside it is. Hopefully your tomorrow will be better!

I thought it was just me. Blocked 6 today.

I ask a morning meeting question every day at school. Best 15 minutes of the day and they all light up! They love to all share every day!

Also, I steal the time from "learning minutes" but they learn more when they know they are seen and liked and heard.

For sure! The computer isn't always sure.

If I was a bot, would I know??? Or would I think I am human?
