Dawn Butler needs to be crowned "Queen of the Commons".

She was thrown out of Parliament for calling Boris a liar, then Parliament declared him a Liar.

Now @DawnButlerBrent has been scolded for calling Racist Sarah Pochin 'racist'.

THIS MUST END!

Job hunting is always "interesting"

Orgs that aren't good at concealing they started the process with a preferred candidate, ones that ghost applicants after the interviews, etc.
But also orgs that are proactive with accessibility, or that take the time to give constructive feedback...

Education as a social process can transform lives. My research with sanctuary-seeking mothers in Wales led to community courses, progression support & cross-sector change. Let’s recognise experience, amplify voices & design systems that empower. #SanctuaryMothers #InclusiveEducation #RefugeeRights
Research Impact: Sanctuary-Seeking Mothers and Transformative Education
Over recent years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with mothers seeking sanctuary in Wales—women who have fled conflict, persecution, or instability in search of safety and a better future for themselves and their children. My research has concentrated on their experiences of education and learning, and how these experiences influence their identities, wellbeing, and sense of belonging in a new country.

Racism is built on a hierarchal system which positions whiteness at the top. This is why colourism exists across so many communities. Anti-black racism penetrates our society. It is not racist to point this out. This doesn't discount the experiences of any marginalised groups. #dianeabbott

My current contract ends in the summer. I'm looking for a new job. I'm open to freelance or employee roles in research, analysis, education, or charity mgmt. Please contact me if you can help.

I'm grieving a close family member so it's not a great time to be job hunting hence the ask.

I’m feeling exhausted!
It’s been both a positive and frustrating day. I love seeing students grow and develop.
I’m also lucky to be part of a couple of incredibly supportive and knowledgeable research groups/networks. But emerging from my bubbles of support can be so draining.

This is a very, very bad change. If there is no carve out for refugees it’s also very clearly in breach of the Refugee Convention. Art 31 requires no penalisation for illegal entry and Art 34 requires facilitation of naturalisation.
