The fact that the team can't simply say "We know we fucked up, we know that antiblackness led to this fuckup, we are going to sit down with some of the Black users here, come up with a public and transparent game plan to address the harms and reduce risks going forward..." is WILD to me. It's simple

if Black people don’t feel safe on a platform, NO marginalized group will. I will not feel safe here as a disabled person when this place opens up, federation be damned.

Well they told a Black person during a panel of moderation and safety to let "other experienced" devs speak.
