My first bread machine loaf (from last Thursday, it's half eaten by now). Oatmeal Buttermilk, because that's what I had on hand. I forgot how good homemade bread is.

Old fashioned oats and dried buttermilk for easy storage and little to no spoilage over time while I experiment with baking bread.

I'm so excited! Flop the bunny is going to their forever home. Someone made the purchase last night and I shipped the little one out this morning. My first real purchase from my web site! 🥰 Now I need to hurry up and knit more, if ME/CFS will kindly cooperate, please.

Well, I made it to the craft market. I even have a shady spot in the grass (for now. It'll be hot as hell later. One problem, I'm a lot weaker than when I did the farmers' market. I couldn't get my tent up on my own. Had to ask for help from another vendor. Time for a smaller easier tent.

I had a burst of energy and in a fit of insanity signed up for a craft market. It's still in the low to mid 90s around here. Little nuglet and I are going to spontaneously combust at the market tomorrow I suspect. Which might be why he looks a bit peeved.

In much more pleasant news, there's a nest of baby birds on the windowsill of my bathroom. It's been loads of fun watching them grow. Kelce also thinks BirdTV is the best thing ever!

I got rather lost in all the doom that's been happening around the world the last few days, but there's some good things happening here. My friend Kenny finally had his first day of chemo. He's been lucky in that this first week has been relatively smooth sailing.

Tomorrow is Kenny's first day of chemo. He took the dogs to the beach today to get his mind in a peaceful place and prepare for the fight.

Mazzy (right) and Ziggy (left) would happily give you doggy kisses if you share this post or support their dad in his quest to beat esophageal cancer.

Okay, let's be realistic, they'll give you kisses anyway, they just love people.

I've been doing a lot of knitting while hanging out in hospital and doctor office waiting rooms. This one is an eventual tortie kitty.

Mother's Day Drop: Introducing Flop, the bunny lovey! He is only 10 inches tall, wonderfully floppy and lovable, and as a small lovely not so big as to trip new walkers.

Flop does yoga while getting a new arm. He's named Flop because I love the sound his feet make when he flops onto the table.

Lira would like everyone to know that the Mail Lady is, in fact, a threat. Even when she's delivering mail to the houses next to ours but not ours.

How does she know this? Doggy scientific method of course, bark at mail lady daily. Mail lady goes away daily. Proof. Arf!

Now pet my belly

This must be what happens when you take AI on board. Poor birdie. It looks sickly.

Sunflower Bear is online! He is a huge hug of a bear, all bulked up and ready to hibernate in a blanket fort with your favorite little one.
