Some needed good news! Homelessness is *down* in LA by 3.4% in the City and 4% in the County. Even though we may not fully feel the impact on the street, the data can show us a trend. Let’s talk about what works and what doesn’t work, so we can keep moving in the right direction. 🧵

🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.

With the fires compacting our dire housing crisis and cuts to federal $ coming, ULA just got that much more crucial to the City of LA.
