My family of 6 took the ferry across Puget Sound to attend what ended up being the last playoffs game for the Mariners back in 1994 or 1995.

Today, I asked my dad how much the tickets were back then for those playoff games. Here's what he said. (Alt text attached to image) 😱😱😱
I don't remember the total cost. But we had to buy tickets for every home playoff game through the World Series. The Mariners didn't make it to the World Series so I sent in the unused tickets and got a refund of over $800 for 3 or 4 games for 4 tickets. So the World Series tickets were between $50 and $66 each.

I would like to follow this up with a Swedish study I encountered that tracked children born between 1995-2019 (that's a sample size of 2,480,797).
