The EPA is reorganizing its science research office in a move expected to impact, and likely eliminate, several hundred jobs at the agency’s Research Triangle Park campus.

On Friday, scientists were encouraged to reapply for positions in other agency offices.

This (like other unsubstantiated rumors sometimes posted as fact by this clout-chasing organization) is not true.

There were so many journalists covering Monday's #ncga Senate votes that we ran out of desks in the press room. At least four of them were covering it for the N&O. #ncpol
The decline of North Carolina's former newspaper of record is not just sad to see; it's also a part of the broader shift of the news media away from meaningfully covering state-level issues at all.
