I recently re-watched the original Star Wars trilogy and there are a few pretty glaring continuity issues between them and the prequels but the one that doesn't really get talked about is that people actually seem to have liked Anakin and think fondly of him in the original movies.

Housing is not expensive because of economic inequality or concentrated corporate power.
Housing is expensive because we do not have enough homes in the places people want to live; and we do not have enough homes because 50 years ago we decided that it should be harder to build dense housing there.

The people colluding to create housing shortages in order to jack up the price of homes and rent are mostly single family homeowners, not nefarious corporate actors; and they’re doing it in public at your local planning commission, not in smoke-filled conference rooms or whatever.

I had better access to classic movies as a kid watching WPIX Channel 11 than I do today with a lot of streaming services
There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc
