An indie animated film from Latvia with no humans or dialogue might be the best climate movie of the year.

I’m sorry, WHAT???
Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

There’s a Tesla is South Salt Lake y’all!!
Today, around ten thousand people gathered at Tesla showrooms across 50 states and internationally to protest Elon Musk (DOGE). We encourage everyone to join again next Saturday, March 8th, with more events planned.

Can someone help me out here? Why does it say I am viewing “ARCHIVED content published online before January 20, 2025” and directing me to a different location? I’m assuming it’s related to the Trump administration, but would love to know exactly why.

Does any one have any insight or resources on wildlife camera trap surveys that will be used as a baseline inventory for species in a given area? The data will be used to create management strategies for wildlife and wildlife habitats.

Please enjoy my last ever post at Climate.gov/ENSO Blog. This afternoon I was fired by the Trump Administration 15 days before my 2yr probationary period ended on March 13.
I have worked at NOAA since 2010, and I'm so incredibly proud of the work I did. If anyone wants a quote, let me know.
Predicting El Niño and La Niña is tough, but new research analyzing 20+ years of forecasts finds dynamical models outperform statistical ones, especially for El Niño. La Niña onset? That's been much harder. Read more in our new ENSO blog post! www.climate.gov/news-feature...

Listen to this chatty bunch. 🔊
Elk generally use these chirps to chat amongst their herd. What do you think they’re talking about?
