The “Boardwalk Bike Ban” as reported in the press from Beach 73rd to Beach 108th from Memorial Day to 10/1 after 9:30AM was “just a proposal.” @nycparks.bsky.social is still listening to community feedback. 3/

Community boards influence what actually happens on the ground in NYC. I joined my CB promote transportation equity in Northeast Queens and helped get several miles of bike lanes in our area. I’ve also advocated in favor of a homeless shelter. I strongly encourage other people to join their CB.
