The “Boardwalk Bike Ban” as reported in the press from Beach 73rd to Beach 108th from Memorial Day to 10/1 after 9:30AM was “just a proposal.” @nycparks.bsky.social is still listening to community feedback. 3/

Community boards influence what actually happens on the ground in NYC. I joined my CB promote transportation equity in Northeast Queens and helped get several miles of bike lanes in our area. I’ve also advocated in favor of a homeless shelter. I strongly encourage other people to join their CB.

This year showed that change happens when we organize, fight, and never give up.

As we head into 2025, we're ready to keep pushing for a safer, more accessible, and equitable NYC.
