Donald Trump dedicated his Easter message to attacking the “Radical Left Lunatics,” “the worst and most incompetent President,” “Sleepy Joe Biden,” and once again falsely claimed he won the 2020 election.

Ah yes, the true spirit of Easter: rage-posting about your political enemies.

Regardless of what you think about the policies, the dehumanization of this administration’s actions is appalling.
This is the result of decades of civic poisoning by Fox News and right-wing echo chambers and channels.

This is incredibly sad - for the employees, the beneficiaries and when you consider all of the monumental work they been doing for 60+ years.
RIP USAID — all remaining 900 employees will be fired.

Holy cow. Why. How? Why????
We're 4 days into Signalgate and Trump clearly doesn't even know what Signal is.

Who is running the White House?

Ridiculous. They are all beyond ridiculous. It’s a farce! Stop lying. For once. Please!!!
After the Atlantic published the texts this morning, Tulsi Gabbard is confronted today on why she lied in her testimony to the Senate yesterday. She says she misremembered.

Read @hcrichardson.bsky.social latest post about Frances Perkins work to improve labor laws and then stumbled upon FL DeSantis’s proposal to loosen child labor laws. The removal of immigrants has reduced the workforce in Florida (of course) and this is his solution. Progress - undone in a snap.
All work restrictions would be lifted on 16- and 17-year-olds in Florida under new bill
A year after Gov. Ron DeSantis loosened child labor laws, Florida lawmakers look to erase all limits on working 16- and 17-year-olds.

Trump is completely unhinged. All you have to do is look at the events of yesterday. and the day before. And the day before. But yesterday was special. We knew he was a bit of a used car salesman metaphorically, but now I see that he’s literally a car salesman.

What denotes illegal protests???? Students are protected by the First Amendment. We are living in the upside-down.
F you, Donny. This isn’t your beloved Russia or China. We have the First Amendment in America—people can protest and say whatever they want. If someone commits violence, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

With the Doge blitzkrieg that is happening, I don’t think enough people are paying attention to what’s going on with Starlink. Between this revelation and the recent Wired expose, we all need to be paying more attention to it.

Another 1984 move is in effect. Mom’s For Liberty and the DOE have launched a website aimed at encouraging parents to rat out any instances of DEI in schools. God forbid we embrace and protect diversity in our schools. Forget mental heath and abuse hotlines - let’s turn in schools that care.

“The meaning of what looks like an astonishing American intervention on behalf of accused sex traffickers is clear enough. An implicit promise of the most recent Trump campaign was to restore patriarchy. Not the softer, pious kind of patriarchy…, but unfettered male domination.

“We just had word that all our fellows and post doc staff are laid off effective immediately. The famous Epidemic Intelligence Service, aka the Disease Detectives, is no more. That’s 1260 staff.

They are calling this ‘Phase 1’.”
