Ranting about fascism, climate change, and income inequality (not necessarily in that order).
Gas in France is somewhere around $8 a gallon. It's just under 2 euros per liter and there are about 4 liters in a gallon. Yet somehow France has a functioning economy. But the minimum wage in France is also about $10 an hour.

We were having a real conversation up to this point. But whatever.

Give me sources for nine realistic ceasefire attempts that Israel rejected and I will happily admit I am wrong.

The ceasefire that Israel turned down Hamas was saying they would give back 30 dead bodies and would choose what prisoners they would get in exchange. It was not a realistic offer. America has been much more interested in a ceasefire than either Hamas or Israel. I support any realistic ceasefire.

I have mixed feeling about the ICC. On the one hand there are likely war crimes being committed by the Israeli government. Targeting aid trucks has the most evidence. But the fact that the ICC waited to charge the leaders of Hamas until they charged Netanyahu disturbs me.

There are a lot of legitimate criticisms against the Israeli government's handling of this war. And I have made many myself. But the notion that too many people were killed while rescuing hostages is absurd.

So, you condone rape, murder, hostage taking, putting civilians in danger. Good for you. Have an opinion.

Thanks mom.

I have zero problem with anything that Israel does to release live hostages, from an attack to a permanent cease fire. The first temporary cease fire and hostage release only occurred because of tirely work by the Biden administration. Everything I've read Hamas and Israel are very apart.

I said long ago, if there is one thing that people need to examine with nuance it's the war in Gaza. And if there is one thing that people look at without any nuance it's the war in Gaza.

Just stating facts. But if there is a point I suppose it would be that her becoming Trump's lawyer was not foreseen at the time of her nomination. The problem was not her as much as these ridiculous minidistricts, which are being abused.

1. What are you talking about? 2. Am I supposed to know who Jersey Mike is? 3. Is Jersey Mike supposed to be fictional or non-fictional, because he's walking into a bar with one real (albeit dead) person and one fictional person?

3/ The closest any of them has come to an admission of the wrong they did was David Frum, who has expressed some regret for some of the positions he helped espouse.

2/ Steve Schmidt gave us Sarah Palin. None of them have ever apologized for the degradation of politics and society that they helped orchestrate. Yet they are supposed to be lauded for drawing a line. As a general matter, they are not people who should be admired.
