I've been trying to figure out why reactionaries indulge in gross false equivalencies. My guess is, these "centrists" support "race science" & junk evopsych, which situates them at the culture war far-right. So, their slippery slope field of view only point left.

Kind of ironic that antiwokism ended up being the actual slippery slope.
