Reactionaries engage in false equivalencies bc they see "cultural conservation" as fundamentally good & progressive activism as misguided, or worse. They support "race science" & junk evopsych, which situates them at the culture war far-right. Their slippery slope fallacies only point left.

Reactionaries attack their political enemies & frame their own political preferences in self-serving, non-ideological terms such as: despising the political extremes or being anti-totalitarian. When "centrists" call Trump "woke" they're not using the term in a novel way.

We're a few months into this administration and the pogroms, for which the GOP has been preparing, are just getting started.

David Shor posts quite a bit about crime stats & only two of those posts were informative:
1. The state of crime data is bad & it's not his field. He's correct on both counts. Consequently, most political influencers use crime stats to advocate for their own political preferences.

1/ My 2¢. This screenshot generally aligns with my mgt style. In many organizations, people are promoted w/the expectation that they will develop solutions to problems & leverage the labor of the people "below" them to implement those solutions.
