Honestly, Dems, I value the party platform of support for working families, protecting public lands, fighting for women's rights, and more. But I am TIRED of the lack of leadership, uncoordinated efforts, and demure push-backs. I want MORE Al Greens, not less.

So.

It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.

I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

Another damaging firing of a young scientist. Dr. Darling, an MSU Entomology alum, was working to rear parasitoids to control emerald ash borer and other devastating pests of forests and farms. There is no private sector equivalent doing this work, and this loss means less control for these pests l.

Stopped by to pass this along. They were expecting 10% for the folk but it's looking like 1-2%. Normal attrition is around 6% at the transition w/quitting/retirement. So had they done NOTHING they likely would have done better. Also, it should cost about $1 billion to pay the 1-2% for those 7 mths.
