Russia has banned the human rights group Human Rights Watch (HRW) as an "undesirable organization." This was announced by the Prosecutor General's Office in Moscow. HRW must now cease all work in Russia. Anyone who cooperates with or supports the organization risks being brought before a court.

It’s not a great deal if you don’t need it. And especially this year, others really need support. So for all of us who have enough, let’s refuse to get sucked into the holiday shopping frenzy and share instead of shop. We don’t need more stuff, we need communities where all our neighbors are safe.

With regard to peace negotiations, Russian President Putin is officially willing to talk, but remains firm on his demands. If Ukraine does not give up the territories claimed by Russia, the war will continue. The 28 point peace plan is again a waste of time!

After the attack on 2 National Guard soldiers in Washington, the two injured men continue to fight for their lives. Meanwhile, Trump is using the incident to further his political agenda & polarizing the American public. No word that the shooter was cleared for formal immigration in April of 2025!

It is well known that Trump deliberately blames the opposition or denies any wrongdoing! That is his strategy and he seems to get away with it. I don’t think anyone is stunned anymore.

It is a new low point in relations between the US & South Africa. Trump has announced that he will disinvite South Africa from the next G20 summit. Experts see this as a dangerous development, and there is widespread outrage in South Africa.
