magnesium was also really helpful for cardiovascular, nervous system and stress support, plus purposely eating more salt to increase blood volume. and for extra credit you can do vagus nerve toning stuff like breathwork or yin yoga or whatever flavor of woo-woo stuff is most appealing

hard to say for sure because most improvements were gradual, but a supplement called GABA was the thing that provided the most immediate and obvious relief from heart palpitations. later i switched to N-acetylcysteine which is longer-acting and modulates the body's own endogenous GABA

never got a POTS diagnosis but i did start following all the POTS advice, and I've still got bathtime tachycardia but at least I'm not nauseated anymore!

turned out to be an autonomic thing for me - after I got a concussion I would get nauseated from hot shower/bath/blowdrying hair, and when I started monitoring my heart rate with a smart watch i found it would be like 130-150 continuously while I'm overheating

I've been punished my whole life for being too sensitive but someone has to be the canary in the coal mine. some stuff is actually bogus, and being able to detect cognitive dissonance at extremely low concentrations is a useful talent if you don't compulsively suppress it in order to get along
