Just finished two weeks dog sitting our grand dog, Pumpkin, such a sweetie and we miss her already! Although we seemed to nail down that she's a black lab/border collie mix. 🩷 ...who loves to catch balls on the bounce! About 50x in a row! Haha.

I am boycotting Meta today and it turns out I rely on it a lot to stay in touch with friends and just for entertainment in general. I knew I did, but it's been tough not to go online. I scrolled a lot more on LinkedIn than I usually do! Haha. Also on Pixelfed. Let me know how your boycott is going?

Every time I log on to FB these days (to stay in touch with friends and watch funny/cute animal videos) I am inundated with useless bot content that's fake and/or outrageous, usually politically. I block block block, but there are always more.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
