I semi-retired last year. Takes a while to adjust. Number 1 tip: join a running club (if they have one near you) and socialise as much as possible.

Our anatomy indicates our species evolved a unique ability to run and track prey in the heat, with palaeolithic humans able to sweat and hunt when other mammals struggled. Even though we now use supermarkets, I think running is doing what comes naturally.

I joined a running club and I wish I'd have found it 10 years ago. I'm not sure if you have them in the US. It's more of a social club for like minded people.

I feel just the same. As it went on, despite Joe's bro persona (which is not my cup of tea), I felt that his questions opened Magnus up some, even posing some valid suggestions regarding pushing his development further.

This is more than ignorance, it shares characteristics drawn from eugenics, a widespread philosophy before WW2, discredited by its wholesale adoption by the nazis. However, elements of it lingered in the everyday conversations of the households he grew up in. Dangerous rhetoric!

This is the real issue, and besides being horrified at Trump moving towards authoritarianism, his administration is also wasting time and distracting the world from addressing this.

I'm with you, Anthony, in feeling this loss. Only Americans can save us from this though!

It is a tiny ray of hope that his favourability is slipping and that Fox News are prepared to report it.
