Anyone else ever listen to a true crime podcast about something and then go find like 20 other true crime podcasts about same subject so you can get more than one perspective? Or is that just me?

Smoke detectors up and working again $260 later. Gotta love how just basic home survival stuff is so expensive. Fire stations apparently can give out free ones but not if they are wired in. I’m glad we can afford it but yikes for folks who just don’t have that if theirs die like ours did.

Wired in smoke detectors are so annoying. Attempt 4 to get the right detector, right connectors, right wires. I think I’m done after this.

If you’re wondering what exciting things we get up to in my house we just spent awhile figuring out where a box of crackers went because our cracker to cheese ratio in the household is way off.

I love to give away stuff in free groups but good lord the waiting around for people to decide to answer when they can come it or waiting for them to arrive is awful.

I think what the AWS and Cloudflare outage tells is maybe don‘t build the entire internet to be dependent upon a handful of unaccountable companies.

Cats are too precious. I played with Socks and a string for 20 mins and let him win. He paraded it in a circle and brought it back to play at my feet like a prize.
