Proudly doesn’t know her place.
“The Lolita Express Lockdown” is a catchphrase that should be circulated to, and echoed from, every blue-leaning and anti-Trump corner.
Forget gridlock: we’re in a Lolita Express Lockdown.

Oh, sorry Elise, nine years of selling your soul piece by piece leads to this. Who could have thunk it?

The plan is for the oligarchs to steal more of our money. That’s it. That’s the plan. It’s why they don’t want to articulate it.
Ok so we’re done pretending like this pathetic shit is still the Washington post, right?
President Donald Trump’s economic plan is causing brief pain while the nation advances to a new “Golden Age.”

But officials have been much less clear about what that destination will look like.

"You might have to suffer a bit" is the MAGA version of "Let them eat cake."

When a politician tells you it's your duty to sacrifice for THEIR principles, it's time to start building guillotines.

What these nihilistic vandals are doing to dismantle science & medicine—generations of expertise & public service & life improving benefits—is cultural revolution level national self harm. No foreign foe could inflict such brutal damage & senseless suffering on US so fast & effectively & unresisted.

How much Elon Musk makes from the government a day: $8 million.

How much a senior on Social Security gets a day: $65

Guess which budget Musk and Trump want to cut?

What happens when the “disruptors” in charge convince Americans that the American Dream and mythos were for suckers? Eventually, that aspirational spirit fades away. How tasty will the rich start to look then?
Rich people are venerated in our society. We aren't eating them anytime soon. Part of being aspirational, which most people are, is believing people who are better off than you deserve to be. And in some cases, it's actually true, which makes the bullshit part of it hard to see.

From isolationism to imperialism in eight short years. How his followers don’t all have whiplash I’ll never know.

People with power need to start calling this out as it’s happening—as soon as his saber rattling starts. The trade war scam has been one of Trump Land’s Greatest Snatch-and-Grabs since 2016.
Oobvious scam. Opposite of a pump and dump. Poop and Scoop

It’s one of his favorite grifts—look “tough” enough to get the markets to move while his cronies short-sell, then claim victory even when his negotiations don’t net anything. His followers will never know they’ve been had and his scam makes bank. Rinse. Repeat.
Mexico had already committed 10,000 troops and Canada already passed their 1.3 billion border security package.

Trump took the first off ramp he could because he knows he fucked up.

Just a reminder that Musk couldn’t get a top level security clearance. And he was under investigation for violating the terms of the clearance he did have. Now he has your Social Security number, your tax returns, and is unilaterally deciding who the government does and does not pay.

When measles vaccine rates plummeted in Samoa, health experts saw a looming crisis.

But RFK Jr. saw an opportunity to study the health of unvaccinated children.

“I can’t imagine anything less ethical or more cruel,” one expert said.

More from @brandyzadrozny.bsky.social:
Experts saw Samoa's plunging vaccination rates as a crisis. RFK Jr. saw an opportunity.
New details show how Robert F. Kennedy Jr., then chair of an anti-vaccine group and now Trump’s pick for health secretary, sought to exploit a deadly vaccine accident.

And why this is the logical endpoint of 40+ years of marinating American minds in the anti-democratic dogma of "everything should be run like a business."
