The incompetence of this administration is turning me into a conspiracy theorist. Mission accomplished, I guess.

With Trump's threats of arrest, I wonder if @gavinnewsom.bsky.social regrets platforming fascists on his podcast and trying to cozy up to them. This is why you don't comply with fascists and why you don't give them a fucking inch. They will turn on you or pull you down with them.

One of the biggest reckonings for myself this year is coming to terms with how naive I've been.

I used to think the Democrats would absolutely stand up to tyranny and I used to think that people would obviously vote for things that make our lives better.

These are the senators who collaborated with the GOP.

Schumer
Fetterman
Cortez Masto
Durbin
King
Shaheen
Gillibrand
Schatz
Hassan
Peters

Don’t let them forget it. No peace for them.

I really should learn my lesson and stop having hope that Democrats will do the right thing.

Fucking cowards and @schumer.senate.gov is the biggest coward of them all. How does it feel to kiss the boots of Nazis, Chuck?

I guess #Democrats really don't give a fuck about their base and would still rather win over Republicans. Good fucking luck in the midterms.

if you find yourself reluctant to support the guy at Columbia because you find some of the politics he espoused distasteful or even abhorrent, you should know that this is exactly the reaction that they hoped for in choosing him as a target for unlawful detention based on political speech.

These pro-genocide McCarthyites are targeting people without face coverings at protests. Nassau County on Long Island passed a ban on face masks last year for this very purpose. Know your rights -- including the right to peacefully protest -- and protect yourself accordingly.
How did Mahmoud Khalil become the first student targeted for deportation by the Trump administration?

He showed up at a protest last week without a mask.

"The guy was making it too easy for us," a pro-Israel activist who has been compiling a protester database told me.

Sure do love that #democrats aren't doing shit to put out an oppositional message but they have no problem sending out fundraising emails to collect more money to "fight fascism."

If I hear "you don't know what's in his heart" one more time, I'll be throwing hands.
It will save you time and mental energy if you understand that a lot of white people don’t believe anything is racism unless the person doing it is wearing a shirt that says, “I am doing this for a racism.” Plausible deniability is a social survival tool for them in a way it has never been for us.

When a single billionaire can accumulate more money in 10 seconds than their employees make in one year, while workers struggle to meet the basic cost of rent and medicine, then yes, every billionaire really is a policy failure.

The reason A.I. is being shoved down our throats is shareholders want a return on their investment. Every company that integrates this crappy tech into their products knows you don't want it, but they've sunk too much money into it and don't care. Turn it off, don't use it, don't look back.

With bird flu making its jump to humans and the CDC being gagged, make sure to prep and stock up on supplies.

It's not a major issue for humans yet, but with this current administration it's better to be safe than sorry.

And for the love of Dog can people stop drinking raw milk?
