Some kind of perpetually exhausted pigeon. Probably the wrong temperature.

Playing around with the tool that analyses your most used words on Bluesky. The phrase "fucking stupid" and the words "coffee" and "cheese" are up there. But also "happy" and "history". So I think I am accurately reflecting my true self via this platform. 💅

Ok so I am not playing Whamageddon this year, but instead I am carefully avoiding spoilers for the Taskmaster advent calendar 🤣

Stupid Tesco cancelled my stupid online shop. Had to go do an actual big shop in person with a stupid trolley. Grumble grumble. Is it bedtime yet?

THREAD.

3 years ago, with no warning, a brilliant orange farm cat wandered over from the draughty barn where he had been living, in rural Cornwall, and decided he wanted to live with us instead.

We decided to call him Jim.

This is the first photo I took of him, on that night: December 1st, 2022.

On this day in 1940, the Luftwaffe inflicted upon Southampton the heaviest bombing raid of the town’s war so far with a sustained and brutal six-hour raid that began just after 6pm. The German bombers would return on 30 November and 1 December.

Home (eventually. Stupid trains) at 3am after seeing Ski Aggu in London with Izzy last night. phone has just reminded me to shop around for home insurance quotes. Back to boring normality with a bump 🤣 (and possibly a nana nap later.)

Search for London in the search box on a whim and the first result is a post from someone I know but I didn't know was HERE. What are the chances? Hi @itshannahflynn.bsky.social

On #TransDayofRemembrance, I want to honour the memory of every single trans person hurt by a monster and every single trans person who felt they couldn’t live in a world full of monsters.

If you don’t want trans people to exist, get help. Fix your heart.

It’s you. Not them.

So can I get this straight - we've gone from "banging teenagers is better than banging prepubescent girls, am I right?" to "Trump gave Clinton a blow job". I was only in the bath for 45 mins. I can't keep up with this.

I am officially too old to get away with falling over. But not yet old enough for it to count as "having a fall". If anyone needs me I will be over here sulking and discovering new places I hurt. (Nothing dramatic but I imagine I will have a few muscular aches and pains the next few days.). #ow

Had to pause eating my dinner while reading this because it made me laugh too much.
The human pelvic floor has a couple of very important jobs. First and foremost, is keeping your internal organs inside you. The other is ensuring that peeing and pooing stays under your control.

Taking photos at gigs with a shitty camera phone is hard. But not as hard as getting up in the morning and making sure everyone goes to school 🤣. Cat Empire were amazing as always. And I might be a Lowdown Brass Band convert. #thecatempire #lowdownbrassband

Is it even Drag Race Espagna if we don't all have a good cry? (Need to track down the lipsync song tomorrow and look up the lyrics properly. I want sub titles for the songs too... I try my best but my Spanish isn't that good yet.)

I am not sure if I am a hungry caterpillar or a hungry hippo today. The hungry part is a no brainer but will it be cocoon or rampage? Only time will tell.

Engage smug mode... Managed to drop my pin 15 ft from the picture. Granted it was a round about I have driven over many times, but still. I will take it. (I didn't manage to take a screenshot so you will just have to take my word for it.)
