I've been reading some of my old fanfiction from 5+ years ago. Honestly I'm surprised how the way I format my writing has changed. I can tell that 19/20 year old me was trying to write something good. I still had fun, so I'd say she succeeded. 😏

Given all the intense stuff in my life and outside of it, it's been really difficult to get into Halloween this year. That being said, I'm gonna be watching IT for the first time. Hopefully that'll change my tune. 😈

Gonna be watching Good Boy (2025) at the cinema this evening. It's a pain in the bum that the film is limited release (again) and I have to traverse Lower Hutt to watch it. But at least it's screening in the mall the Build a Bear is in, so that makes it a little more worth it. 😗

I recall drawing my own rendition of Papiliomarus years ago, when there was only one photo of the fossil available online. Damn, it's a lot weirder than I initially thought! 🤯
Papiliomaris kluessendorfae, first reported in 1985 as the Waukesha "Butterfly Animal", was recently described as a strange bivalved arthropod with three pairs of large, feathery appendages. Some reports indicate it could reach up to 20cm wide.
