Actually there are other problems with optional preferential voting. If you want to vote but don't like preferencing either of the majors then my recommendation is to randomise them.

Yep, a huge number of ppl don't know what asexuality is at all, including therapists, queer researchers/academics etc.
When I wrote my novel, to show how it feels to be (a few different kinds of) asexual, this is why I included a bit more pedagogical content than I would have liked.
