I do love playing 1994 SNES game Earthbound, A.K.A. “The Steve Game” in our house. It is a trippy, tongue in cheek RPG where you name the characters and your favorite thing before knowing much about the game. It is available on the switch. I recommend checking it out. (Name people & things silly).

I made a Zote the Mighty costume for Hollow Knight for CONvergence out of materials in my house and some pool noodles I got for free off of Craigslist. I found a Hollow Knight and a Hornet, too! It was a lot of fun. I handed out scrolls with the 57 precepts of Zote.

I spent the day making whiskey bottles out of beads, paper, nails, and wire because I couldn’t abide the cutout ones in the kit. These are my first made up bottles, though. I like how they turned out. Toothpick in front for scale. #miniature

This was on the long abandoned Minneapolis 3rd precinct today. It is almost as good as the time someone slapped a Spirit Halloween store banner on there.

It is finally done! I finally finished my tryptic of #miniature kitty rooms! These are each about 4 inch cubes and almost entirely made of laser cut paper and glue. They make me quite happy. They were the only kits I have come across I almost didn’t modify.

Cheerios Veggie Blends Apple Strawberry is so yummy! It is what I want fruit loops to taste like but never does. It is dried strawberry and candied carrot forward. My body thanks me for every bite. I hope it sticks around. @generalmills.com

I have been wanting to work on my laser cut paper miniature for a while, but haven’t had the energy. I finally got to it on Sunday and assembled this magnificent baby grand piano. It is so detailed and tiny, and I feel accomplished.

Do you ever buy something and fall in love with the package it comes in? I was at Cub, and these were on sale. I was low on rice, so I got it. I keep my rice in a glass jar and I am obsessed with being left with this charming zipper bag. It is so cute and has handles!!

I just booked a one way trip to Seattle Worldcon on Amtrak for Aimee and I. It has always been on my bucket list to go through Montana via Train. It was expensive, but I think it will be worth it. Probably not worth it to go both ways, though. So expensive in time and money…

With this new information, I am last minute changing the artwork on the jackets to not include flags. Maybe we will be able to wear the new order for a minute before they change the rules again.
