Longtime Minnesota state rep Mary Murphy died today. She was the longest-serving woman in the Minnesota House. "I was a Labor child, I’ve been Labor all my life, and I want to die Labor — but I’m not planning on it for years to come," she said in 2018.

AFSCME Local 66 (Duluth Minn. city workers) have voted overwhelmingly to reject the city's final offer and authorize a strike. Earliest walkout could be mid-January.
