Alberta, Canada are a global leader in the emerging advanced materials industry, but could be eclipsed by USA and China without more investment and policy support.

Why is Canadian media silent on Conrad Black being in the Epstein files?
Black is friends with Maxwell and Trump has been writing op-eds minimizing these crimes. Why are we protecting the Epstein class?
Why Is Canadian Media Silent on Conrad Black Being in the Epstein Files?
From Les Wexner andAlan Dershowitz, to Ghislaine Maxwell & Donald Trump, the Venn Diagram of Conrad Black's and Epstein's overlap is a circle. So why, in Canada, is Black a pundit and not a pariah?

Alberta Does Not Have Grievances. It Has Issues

AB doesn’t need a new constitutional deal or separation.

It needs better politicians than Danielle Smith and Jason Kenney.

Donald Trump probably (!) won't order a military attack on Canada. But his administration is happy to interfere in our politics, and we have to respond accordingly: by thickening our informational borders and holding tech companies to account. #cdnpoli

Trumpism's war on the truth is coming to Canada. We need to be ready
The Trump administration has made it clear that it will use almost everything at its disposal in its broader war on the truth. If we're not careful here in Canada, we'll become one of its casualties.

Just so everyone is clear: the valve here releases pressure that would otherwise build on her leadership from within her party.

She would rather lose the country than her own job.
Danielle Smith says Alberta separatist movement is a "pressure release valve."

All of this talking about thawing Arctic and the Great Game around the North Pole is bitterly ironic, given that Bannon and Trump consider climate change to be a hoax, but there must be a reason why they are pushing this nonsense. 3/15

Pierre Poilievre just can't meet the moment
After two days of uncharacteristic silence, the Conservative leader finally found his voice. What he had to say was the same thing he's been saying for years.

Just genuinely, remarkably stupid.

Alberta has plenty of provincial debt -- and more each year. Any separation agreement would require it to take on a proportionate share of the federal debt.

If anything, an independent Alberta currency would be a recipe for hyperinflation.
Modry added that an Alberta currency would "become the world's strongest currency, because we have no debt."

Donald Trump just killed Alberta's pipeline dreams
Albertans love to accuse Justin Trudeau of trying to cripple their oil and gas industry. Now, Donald Trump might actually end up doing it — by accident.
