China makes eight out of every 10 solar panels globally, and controls 80% of every stage of the manufacturing process.

Just read about Trump’s comments about moving business to the US. His wording sounds like a desperate double-glazing salesman, “DON’T WAIT. DO IT NOW!” He forgot to mention ‘limited offer’ or ‘terms and conditions can change with little or no notice’.

There is a certain irony that the US has imposed additional taxes on imports of tea.

Trump has told the US that it needs to take its ‘medicine’. This is from a man who asked about injecting people with bleach and shining a light inside them!

Microplastics don’t just shed off of plastic items from overuse, like when a water bottle breaks down over weeks or months of being washed and refilled.

They also leach into our food and drinks with even the brief use of a product with plastic components, alarming scientists.
It doesn't take much for microplastics to leach into food, researchers warn
Scientists have found plastic fragments can shed off cutting boards, takeout containers and even laminated paper cups with each use.

“…and start buying tens of billions of dollars of American goods.” - or perhaps buy from somewhere else? I hear the rest of the world produce most of what we buy from the US - and if it is more expensive to sell to the US, they’ll probably want more countries to replace their customers.

The Education Secretary has reportedly 'offered up' universal free school meals as well as free period products and dance, music and PE schemes as a way to save money.

None of this cruelty is necessary.

The Green Party would tax the super-rich fairly. Labour should do the same.
