anyway, today was a GREAT day. and yesterday was also much more relaxing knowing I had today to get work done!!! I wish this could happen more often.

so much planning time goes in to being a good teacher. and I am paid for 4 hours a week of planning. and my paid time happens to come at the end of my work day when I'm exhausted--not optimal for thinking.

Really good point. I'm realizing we dance around this at my school too. they spend so much time talking about fidelity to the curriculum (🙄) as if teaching methods don't play a role.
