4.5 stars. Loved it until the ending, which felt like a big stumble that lost momentum and went in an unsatisfying direction.

I'm going to keep going with writing updates even though I'm now in a Dinosaur Fixation and I'm not super active here.
My untitled dinosaur time travel story (which is more serious than the picture implies) is at 11,496 words, about 2k of which were written this week.

This week's #WritingUpdate as I write up my handwritten draft — and make little changes along the way.

Not as productive this week as I would have liked. Unfortunately I got distracted by the rising tide of fascism that can only mean bad things for the entire world.

Because I'm a bit lazy, I still haven't told Amazon to stop the ebook being free, so...

This week's writing update!

I am making steady progress writing the first novel set in my epic fantasy world — more accurately, typing up the handwritten draft and finding myself incapable of not making changes along the way.

I'm enjoying the process and looking forward to planning Part Two.

Looks like I may have considered this Silmarillion/Ainulindalë/Akallabêth thing before, considering this suffix I created for my Elvish languages 🤔

My current read:
Krondor: The Betrayal by Raymond E. Feist

Feist is probably one of the authors most responsible for my love of the fantasy genre.
