This TTJRPG which uses AI in its artwork, and were incredibly rude and shitty to a whole bunch of creators over on Instagram have a kickstarter coming up.
They don't mention AI once on this page, which I believe goes again Kickstarters rules.

not the main point but it should be illegal to interview someone more than 3 times for the same position
3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

This is a cautionary tale as the animation business gradually yet noticeably shifts from full-time employment to freelance/independent contractor models where the studios are no longer responsible for paying any benefits to the worker.
Watching comic writers/artists beg for money for medical bills, while their creations reap billions, has been quite eye-opening.

Bluesky doesn't penalize you for using links, tags, using key words like Patreon or commissions, and doesn't have a central algorithm on your following feed, which means all the power rests on you to help your favourite creators be seen!

I only ever dealt w Saige surface-level, but I was the recipient of Carlos’s gaslighting, backstabbing, and misogyny for a while and I’m absolutely enraged at what other damage has been dealt.
I just hope everyone affected by these two get justice & peace, and they’re unable to harm anyone again.

We should remember to think critically about what we hear, check receipts when we can, and not rush to judgments: otherwise those who don't deserve it can pay a very high price

Finding out about what Saige Ryan has done *this time* has kicked off so much of my past LA “geek scene” trauma and I pray everyone continues to surround her victims with support.
Just saying — she’s been this person for a decade plus now and I have friends that moved to avoid her.
