I still wear a jersey and bib when I know I’ll be doing med to long road rides (>30km) with friends, but if I’m just going somewhere quick, I don’t need the kit. Which is most of the time. I find people don’t stare as much when I wear a tshirt with shorts but anything more and it seems an affront???

Ugh, yes. Idk when the switch to luxury came but I do remember a time when I didn’t gawk at their prices.

And nah, I am also a car girl. ATP I feel like I’ll never let go of my car until it dies on me. Which is probably closer than I think.

Volvo V60 and V90 are also station wagons but they’re so expensive. Kind of been looking at getting maybe a used one (because my car is quite old) but I so rarely drive that I’m not sure it’s even worth it. I’m with you on SUVs; they are too dangerous!

She’s with my dad and their friends on a quadruple date, eating Filipino food and watching a Jamaican reggae band play. IDK why, but it really warmed my heart that they’re finally going out with their friends again. I think they all put their fun in the backseat for their kids for too long.

Nooo, I’m with you on that one. I felt so embarrassed! The guy who helped me up saw how I’d caught the crack though so at least he knew it wasn’t exactly a skill issue…? Hahaha.
