Don’t know how you feel about Brad Sigmond being executed by firing squad in SC, but the report in THE GUARDIAN kinda glossed over the fact that he beat his gf’s parents to death.

I thought splitting poles was bad luck, but it’s actually a ‘stupistition’ from slavery. Slave masters would tell their slaves it was bad luck to cross streams or split trees, but the real reason? When slaves ran, crossing streams or splitting trees would throw off the scent of the master’s dogs.🤯

A Delta flight carrying ~80 passengers from Minnesota appears to have crash landed at Toronto Pearson Airport. No casualties reported as of this time. Numerous photos and videos have been released showing passengers safely exiting the plane, which flipped upside down. At least 8 people injured.
