Important reminder, thanks @nolahaynes1.substack.com .
With that in mind, I'm going to take a few minutes on my balcony to breathe & create the space to allow my nervous system to calm down, before I try & get some sleep (it's almost 3am here).
Wish me luck.😴
Yawl, I’m not built for rapid response bc it takes time to verify things & I take SM breaks, which is why I don’t post here daily. I know a lot is going on this evening with the shutdown. But, I’m urging folks for your mental health, put the phone down. Give yourself an opportunity to just be.

Maybe I need to run and do it without a damn care. Be truthful, work for the people with no fear of what the Guardians of Pedophiles think.

When you have the power, wield it in the best interest of your constituency.

Congratulations to Speaker Don Scott, Leader Charniele Herring, & Del. Kathy Tran, who were unanimously re-elected to their leadership positions by their Virginia House Democratic Caucus colleagues! I look forward to working with them as Governor to deliver for the people of our great Commonwealth.

Going back to the 2020 Travel Ban that was mostly African countries, Nigeria was on the original list of banned countries. His hatred of African countries is well documented. He makes the mistake of thinking countries like Nigeria & Venezuela are low hanging fruit. And yes, natural resources.
My guess is one of these:
1. Nigeria offended him some way and this is payback
2. Nigeria has something he wants (oil, gas, lithium)
3. He thinks Nigeria can’t or won’t fight back and therefore an easy win
Posting this again. Sadly, Christians are being killed all over the world, including in India, Saudia Arabia & China. You know which country isn’t #1 on the 2025 World Watch List? NIGERIA!

N. Korea is #1. So, why no talk of invading these countries?

New poll shows 61% of Americans are aware about the strikes in Venezuela, that’s a high awareness rate. This is good bc news of the strikes are breaking through across platforms.

Approval for the strikes mainly with Republicans is 50-45.
Dems support is -46.
Independents -6
Republicans +61.

Thank you, sir.
There’s a reason we have a centuries-old law banning living presidents on U.S. currency: to avoid the appearance of a monarchy.

Today Trump's nominee to lead the Mint assured me he won't violate this law for Trump's latest vanity project. We will hold him to it.

NO KINGS.
Trump wants to be on a coin. That's illegal — for a reason.

SNAP benefits to halt in some states amid government shutdown
(WASHINGTON) — One of the biggest impacts of the government shutdown is about to hit tens of millions of the poorest Americans hard: the halting of a critical food assistance program.

With SNAP being cut for November, grocery stores will take such a huge hit that projections are we'll see a 1% increase in food costs just from that.

The administration is not doing anything good for the economy. Middle and low income will be curtailing spending out of necessity.

People need to be prepared for a general strike in order to sustain it indefinitely. A limited time general strike might have some benefits like the one proposed for Black friday. However, if people just go back to buying as usual after a few days I don't think it will force change.
