These are institutions with fascism hard-baked into them, so it's actually quite strange that they briefly turned against the Nazis and mobilized liberal language and moral outrage about Nazism. But their opposition was not truly ideological, it was geopolitical.

One of the worst things about do-called AI is that it pits my students against me. Over decades of teaching, I have built relationships of trust with my students, where I don't bs them about the world they live in, and they don't bs me about the work they do for me about it. "AI" interrupts this.

I know I'm a broken record here, but I just have to keep insisting that Canada be recognized as the same kind of state as the US, Israel, and the other colonial powers. Canada is not the 'nicer' partner, it doesn't have some inherent respect for human rights or justice; it is the same.

This is all coordinated with the regime. It's all theatre. CBC The National reported the Canadian drop was a "one-off". That means Canadian forces partook in a PR scheme to give the appearance that aid is being delivered while the policy of starvation remains. It's not the first time.

Also we know that the embargo isn't working because Canadian companies are still supplying munitions parts to Israel via the US.
Carney was also asked in a recent press conference about comments he made saying 'he was aware of the [genocide in Palestine], which is why Canada has an arms embargo', upon which he completely backtracked and claimed he didn't hear properly
