Brexit was a con.

Sold on a pack of lies by fantasists, ladybird libertarians, chancers, xenophobes and spivs.

On this day of all days we should take a moment to remind everyone of that.

From 8 January 2025, citizens of 48 countries, including the USA and Japan, will need an ETA to enter the UK for short visits.

From April, EU travellers will be snared by the new scheme too.

Expect chaos, and a negative impact on tourism and business travel.

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do;
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too.
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace.
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one.

When we restrict access to vaccines that reduce the severity of covid, don't provide clean indoor air, and allow the virus to continue to spread (seven waves this year so far?) and we know 5% get long covid with each infection, what does anyone think this will do to long term health in our country?

How to survive Trump's America (for non-US folk)

1. Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat.

2. Don't obsess over what's happening over there. Sleep is far more important.

3. Ignore all provocations.

4. Wait 4 years.

5. Don't fret about missing out: if the world really ends, you'll know.

Good luck.
