As Americans, we may no longer be able to say ‘this isn’t who we are’.
But we can still say ‘this isn’t who we should be’.
And whether it’s in the face of cruelty or corruption or hatred or indifference, we ought to repeat that mantra every day to remind ourselves of what we are fighting for.

Yeah because these starving children are members of Hamas. Obviously they are not but whatever Hamas does or doesn't do is not the responsibility of these kids. Their starvation shouldn't depend on politics either way. No kids had anything to do with October 7. None. Period.

Researchers may also have to kill macaques used in a vaccine study at the University of Pittsburgh that is funded by the Harvard contract. Killing the animals may be necessary because they are no longer allowed to use federal funds to feed and care for them
