About two weeks ago, what is EASILY the most important book that I’ve narrated to date released.

That book is COPING WITH CANCER IN EARLY ADULTHOOD by Cristina Pozo-Kaderman and Saul Wisnia, out from @simonandschuster.bsky.social

This is the resource I wish existed when I was diagnosed.

Meant to post this earlier!

Narrators spent most of our time working alone, so when we actually get together, it’s like a big group hug.

Here is my latest “group hug” (aka group pic) on the last day of Johnny Heller’s New England Narrator Retreat.

INSIDE THREAT is coming!

The sixth Rachel Peng book follows our heroine as she goes to New Orleans, finds domestic terrorists, accidentally adopts a dog, and gets extremely drunk with a sexy arms dealer. Also, murder.

Attending the New England Narrator Retreat this week! Eeek! So excited to see old friends and make new ones!

Today is the day I stop procrastinating, put on my nonbinary grown-up undies, and decide what I'm going to read for my coaching sessions at the New England Narrator's Retreat (NENR).

Please wish breakage upon my legs. If you want. Maybe.

It’s not cancer camp without friendship bracelets. 🤣

(The bracelets say, “Hey cancer you are a fucking scourge.”)

I can’t speak more highly than I have at every chance about the cast in, and production of, the WHAT THE DEAD CAN DO audiobook. All just pure 🔥.
Ohhey! Happy belated audiobook birthday to WHAT THE DEAD CAN DO by @peterrosch.bsky.social

I got to work with friends on this one! It’s a brilliant novel about a momma ghost who wants to murder her living child.

I got to play a very smart, very jaded preteen. And loved every minute of it!

Publishing hot take: traditional publishing is really hard, and self-publishing is really hard, and everyone deserves a sandwich and a nap.

I contacted a producer to ask permission to enter a book for consideration in one of the bigger VO awards competitions.

It was a really special project, one that resonated with me pretty strongly.

I got a response back.

I couldn’t submit it. Because they already had. 🥹🥲😭

My fam took a vacation this past week, but of course I prepped a book while we were gone. This was my view while prepping my next narration project. Can’t complain. :)

Thanks to @krystalhammond.bsky.social for the lovely narration!

I sometimes get Nervy about any of my stories written more than five minutes ago, but hearing it like new again, I could be like, "Yeah, still pretty good <3"

Constantly impressed and grateful for all narrators and voice actors do!
