Donald Trump’s cuts to Medicaid will blow a massive hole in our state budget and leave thousands without care.

There’s a storm coming from Washington. Republicans and Democrats should work together to protect our state from Trump.

Defend our people, not the President.

The actual reason Trump wants to gut the Dept of Education? Greed.

His billionaire donor pals want tax breaks. They all want to go back to when education was unavailable to working people, a privilege of the rich.

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

Think firing the entire federal workforce will save America money?

Federal civilian employees account for just 4% of the federal budget. Even if someone like Musk—or any president—fired all of us, it wouldn’t make much of a dent in government spending. Don’t fall for it.

Sorry, I know news is moving like a shitstorm, but this coup is getting CRAZY.

Dem oversight committee short a vote for a subpoena on Musk. Then Rep Khanna then “explains” why they abstained on X, to which Elon retorts on X: “Don’t be a dick.”

I cannot. believe. what’s. happening. Wtaf.

Yes. While there are absolutely things Democrats can and must do to slow, obstruct, etc, GOP hold both House and Senate majorities, severely limiting our options.

Johnson and Thune are handing over the own keys and relinquishing their own power. Even for the cynics this should be a shock.
We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.

From the reports I've read, the USAID people were following the law, preventing DOGE from viewing classified material they didn't have clearance to see.

Musk calling this criminal" means that Musk thinks the law is what he says it is.
Update: USAID is now being called "a criminal organization" by Elon Musk after USAID officials tried to refuse DOGE access and were put on leave. "Time for it to die," he says.
