We were standing in a kitchen. In 2012? Someone told a story that included a person who had recently transitioned. The person telling the story kept messing up the pronouns. The conversation moved to a discussion of pronouns and I just... realized it was so, so easy to choose respect and kindness.

Growing up in poverty, I had zero financial literacy. Got my first bank account at 18 and bought class supplies with my debit card. The bank reorganized those transactions to maximize the overdraft fees. This practice is illegal. For now. Please call your reps. 🤦🏻♀️
I am not making this up: Republicans have introduced legislation… to increase your bank fees.
