I got this lovely World of Warcraft #Mahjong set years ago. No one in my family or friend group was interested in playing at the time. I've finally made friends that want to play! (Funny enough - friends who know nothing about WOW 🤣) Any tips or tricks for beginners? Or a good starter app to learn?

Document that reads: Public Law 115-68 Oct 6, 2017 Sec. 4 Statement of Policy It shall be the policy of the United States to promote the meaningful participation of women in all aspects of overseas conflict prevention, management, and resolution, and post-conflict, relief and recovery efforts, reinforced through diplomatic efforts and programs that- 1) integrate the perspectives and interests of affected women into conflict - prevention activities and strategies; 2) encourage partner governments to adopt plans to improve the meaningful participation of women in peace and security processes and decision - making institutions; 3) promote the physical safety, economic security, and dignity of women and girls; (line #3 is highlighted) 4) support equal access of women to aid distribution mechanisms and services; 5) collect and analyze gender data for the purpose of developing and enhancing early warning systems of conflict and violence; 6) adjust policies and programs to improve outcomes in gender equality and the empowerment of women; and 7) monitor, analyze, and evaluate the efforts related to each strategy submitted under section 5 and the impact of such efforts. It is difficult in some cases to get to the very heart of the matter. But in this case, it is not hard at all. The government is asserting a right to stash away residents of this country in foreign prisons without the semblance of due process that is the foundation of our constitutional order. Further, it claims in essence that because it has rid itself of custody that there is nothing that can be done. This should be shocking not only to judges, but to the intuitive sense of liberty that Americans far removed from courthouses still hold dear.

I read all the things. Ridiculous numbers of things. In the last couple of years, however, I have found that brain candy books soothe my soul and bring me joy. The world is serious enough. I don't need my books to be. 🤷‍♀️

Happy Nurse Practitioner Week to the more than 385,000 NPs across the U.S.A. (plus international NPs that I don't have numbers on!) We have the best job. Next year will mark 25 years as an NP for me, and I could not be more proud of how this profession continues to grow ❤️

Here's my doggos doing their favorite doggo activity. They can watch the world go by from the arm of that chair practically 24/7 - with occasional breaks for food and pets. Such good dogs 🥰
