All joking aside. I backed 9 Mothership month entries last year (8 physical, 1 digital). Of the 9, only 3 have delivered so far - so I don't understand why they're having another month. #ttrpg

I finished watching fantastic 4 and while I enjoyed it, it really felt like a #ttrpg session of good players with a bad GM. 2oo4 characters had marginal effect on the outcome at the end. The lack of consequences at the end. And the credits scene that's out of the book of bad DM tropes

People who are doing the crowdfunding for #ttrpgs . A simple request: Can you please be explicit in if you used AI art or AI writing tools in the campaign page of your project?
I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that if you omitting or obfuscating the use of these tools is anti-consumer.

Crowdfunding is starting to kill #ttrpgs in the same way it all but killed board games for me. Getting ripped off my indie darlings, getting charged exorbitant S&H charges (I assume most goes to handling) is killing me. This week - $130 in shipping charges for 4 books + 4 zines. There's no way.

I think we forget that the cool Gen X people were literally the “alternative” to the conservative douchebag frat boy types that always have existed. When we think of what was cool about Gen X, we are thinking of the counterculture. Not the mainstream.

I bought Daggerheart with to run it as a story game with more combat mechanics, but every time I look into the community, people are trying to determine how to incorporate the worst aspects of D&D/Pathfinder. I was going to run it at a local con and i'm concerned its headed to my sell pile #ttrpg
