My dad loved Johnny so he was the sound my childhood. During Dad's long decline after Mom's death, my sisters and I looked after him. Nature was our refuge as well. Dad passed away in 2022. We played Johnny at the funeral.

My 4 siblings and I grew up with small burgers or crumbled with cream of mushroom over it. We would have thought Hamburger Helper was a luxury!

I have pet food and people food that I am taking today to a protest that is also collecting for a local food bank.

Going to the library weekly is one of my earliest memories. Books were some of my favorite childhood gifts. My parents passed on a love of reading to all of their children.
