A few things gave me pause during the Kyle Whittingham press conference, most notably his love for Urban Meyer.

I really feel for all of the Michigan coaches who are going to lose their jobs because of Sheronne Moore’s actions. Was hoping Whittingham would keep many on, but it doesn’t sound like it

It’s not even 9:00. I should not be tired. And yet 🥱

The happenings of the past few days have been bizarre and, sadly, tragic. For me, it started locally with the firing, arrest, and arraignment of our football coach. But it grew worse. Australia. Brown. And now the murders of two people, apparently by their son. Honestly, I don’t know what to say.

It’s not as great as Michigan beating them (Ohio State), but I sure am enjoying the heck out of Indiana doing it. And 13-10 is just icing on the cake.
They're calling him Ryan "13-10" Day

Who knew you could get so tired sitting (and standing) in the cold all day? 😂 #BigHouse

Just beat Ohio State. Again.

Alternatively, I found an AOL disc I’d be happy to share. 😂
Just cleaned out my junk drawer if anyone needs a CD to reinstall Windows 95.

Not even 7:00 and I feel like I should be getting ready for bed. I hate Standard Time! 😂

Take THAT, JJ McCarthy haters!

Loved it, even though I want the Lions to win.

Sitting in my car with the heat on before going in to the stadium. A pox on whichever idiots decided to schedule night games in Michigan in November.

I kind of knew that two-hour nap I took at 5:00 would come back to bite me.

Knew she couldn’t go on forever, and she lived a good, long life, but this is still sad. Sister Jean brought me so much joy during March Madness. May she rest in peace. 🙏🏻
Loyola University Chicago is greatly saddened to confirm the death of Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM. This is a tremendous loss of someone who touched the lives of so many people. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts & prayers during this difficult time. For more information: https://bit.ly/4o7eIUk

Just back from the Michigan game and the question is — nap or coffee? 🤔

Just deleted my work alarm, because I won’t need it anymore. 😢

Another look into 1931, this time from Northwestern.

The women at Northwestern went on study strike to have their curfew extended from 10:30 to midnight.

Sorority houses also had smoking banned, so the women were lightning up in the streets.

Become ungovernable.

Behaviors associated with what is now termed “autism” were first noted in the 18th century. The first use of the word was in the 1940s. Tylenol came along in the 1950s. So sure. It makes perfect sense that Tylenol causes autism.

I like Nate Bargatze and him hosting was the only reason I paid any attention to the Emmys. The idea of how to keep the speeches to the preset length was cute, but if you ever watched award shows you knew it was going to fail. I just wish he’d had a few other jokes mixed in with the numbers ones.

The problem with noon kickoffs is when you get home after spending 8+ hours in the sun, it’s too early to go to bed. But a nap is definitely in order. Oh, and Go Blue!

I love language. Especially the random weirdness of it.
‘Booty’ and ‘butt’ are synonyms.

‘Call’ and ‘dial’ are synonyms.

But, a ‘booty call’ and a ‘butt dial’ are VERY different things.

Jim Nantz is spot on. And even though I’m not specifically who he’s referring to, it’s a helpful reminder that I don’t need to think of a brilliant take or two every day. Or ever, in fact. Which is good, because that’s not part of my skill set. 😂

Lost a close friend today. Not a surprise, because she’s been in hospice for a few weeks, but it’s still hard to come to terms with. She was the best. I miss her already.

We have to break the cycle of every celebrity narcissist under the sun entertaining the idea of running for president.
STEPHEN A., on running for President:

“.. if these candidates appear to be as atrocious as they’ve been and we don’t see a light at the end of the tunnel .. will I entertain it? Yeah, I’ll entertain it.”
