I just left Chuck Schumer a message not to cave on the #ShutDown. Who Else? Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Jon Ossoff (D-GA), Gary Peters (D-MI), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Peter Welch (D-VT), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI). We will remember when elections come round again.

Chuck Schumer is at it again. He's trying to give away the farm. He's trying to give Republicans a political win after last Tuesdays election, which clearly shows the shutdown is on trump and Republicans. Call his DC office and tell him to hold the line and do not vote for trumps bill. 202-224-6542

Chuck Schumer doing what he does best: folding to Trump’s authoritarian regime and failing the American people. You’d think after last week, he’d understand the moment we’re in and the leverage he has. He must be replaced as leader immediately, and the out-of-touch corporate old guard needs to go.
Deal to end government shutdown in reach
At least 10 Senate Democrats are expected to support a key procedural motion.

Unacceptable. There are 189,000 people in my district who will be paying 50–300% more for the same, and in many cases worse, healthcare.

I won’t do that to the people I represent. I’m a NO on this “deal.”

This perfectly encapsulates what the GOP position is on the shutdown.

Republicans want you to believe that by forcing the Senate to vote over & over on a bill that will price Americans out of their health care, they're serving the public.

Meanwhile, their constituents are seeing their health care premiums more than double.

Don't fall for this.

Thanks, GOP congress! Thanks, Trump!

9 in 10 low-income ACA enrollees—mostly in states Trump won—will pay the price if ACA tax credits expire.

And yet, Trump and House Republicans aren't even in DC to try and fix this crisis.

They are quite literally abandoning their voters.

Tens of millions of Americans, including about 4 million Texans, are standing on the edge of a health care premium cliff.

Without the health care tax credits, the average annual premium for these Texas families will more than double.

Senate Democrats are fighting to stop that.

Why the Democrats are fighting for our healthcare.

Two months ago, I was quoted around $350 a month for my husband and I.

Today, I checked and the monthly price for health insurance coverage is now $1,713 a month - with a $15,000 deductible.

I need someone to explain the Tr*mp tariffs to me. I ordered a single $75 item from Canadian company @sweetlegs.bsky.social and I received a bill from FedEx for $136, which included a 125% tax from China and a 25% tax from Canada.

Just received a duty bill from FedEx for $136 for a $75 item that I ordered recently. Apparently, the company is located in Canada. I was not informed of any possible additional charges.
