I don't know whether to be pleased that two GOP Senators signed on or just disgusted that the number isn't higher. If protecting abducted children isn't a bipartisan issue, what is?

The work to track these abducted Ukrainian children was canceled along with the vast majority of foreign aid contracts. We're also asking WHY???
Russia kidnaps Ukrainian children and gives them to Russians to erase their heritage and demoralize Ukraine. Over 20,000 so far. And the US just stopped helping track these kids and likely deleted the database of all the research. Pure evil, right maga?

Update: CNN reports that the State Dept is now *confirming* cancellation of the contract tracking abducted Ukrainian kids, claiming it's not in US interests. Also, a State spox claims data is with a subcontractor. If true, pressure will now intensify to reinstate the program.
