Something seasonal again - three wise imps following a shooting star 💫

One side of a paper lantern I made in 2022. It worked as an advent calendar. Each day a piece of black cardboard could be removed and a new motive would be revealed.

This aerial landscape is one of my favourites. I really like how the different stitches show the slope of the river banks.

I always struggle with acrylics. But I saw a painting with just tree trunks in a restaurant and thought to myself: That looks manageable.
Being me I had to depict real tree, species of course. And add an owl. Owls make everything nicer. 🦉

I researched depictions of unicorns in heraldry for this and there is some hilarious stuff. Mine is definitely related to the coat of arms of the municipality Opfenbach in Bavaria. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opfenbach

Here is a silly blushing cake.
A three panel comic without woŕds. In the first panel a woman smiles down at a white cake. Only the lower part of her face an her earrings are visible. Second panel: hands open a button on a blouse. Third panel: The woman has taken off her blouse apparently and is wearing only a bra now. The bra is black and partially see-through. The nipples are accentuated by two birds on each side which have their beaks opened as if to eat the nipples like cherries. The cake is not white anymore. It has gained a rich pink blush.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
