Can you let me know when a fix for this exists? I am seeing the same issue.

It’s got some rough edges that I’m sure they’ll smooth off over time, but I am already enjoying using it. RStudio is starting to feel old fashioned and this feels quite fresh.

Ahh thank you! I wondered if this was being discussed somewhere. Overall I like it a lot. RStudio was starting to feel old and crufty compared with editors like VSCode. Might see if I can disable linting while they work on it.

Yeah. I was paying attention this time, since it had done it once already, and the startup screen simply presents Apple Intelligence as a feature with a “Continue” button, which I guess re-enables it.

Thanks! I was at 58 minutes this time last year, so it feels like progress. 😊

Thanks! It’s a first.

That is interesting context. Thanks!

Thanks!

I’m really sorry to hear that. I was out of action for a while in my mid-twenties with an illness and was very isolated, so I know how that feels.

That's true. I can't help feeling that kind of interction is somehow less fulfilling than doing things in person though. My son plays games on his iPad with his friends remotely, but it's clear he has more fun when they meet up.

That's a great picture!

Yes. And lots of companies and organisations are now tightening up the flexibiity around working from home that was introduced during the pandemic.

I do agree with you about wfh. I work from home two days a week, which makes it easier to manage family life, but I really value the social aspect of the three days I spend in the office.

Happy new year! Hope you're doing well.
January 6, 2025 at 10:31 AM
Yeah. It does make me want to test this systematically across a range of tasks!

Got it. Thanks! 👍

Lovely pic! Happy Solstice to you and the family!

That's fantastic!

Looking forward to hearing more about this in future! (Have often thought knowledge graphs deserve more attention, but it’s just an intuition, so it’s exciting to see this use case.)

Ah nice, you already know it! I’ve been loving their series on the French Revolution too.

Sorry, was just on a call! In addition to the Four Tet set I posted in the thread, this is another that I have been playing a lot lately from a different DJ.

That is really useful info, thanks! It’s hard to strike a balance between getting enough for what you need and getting carried away. (I am the same about keeping personal and professional computing separate.)
